This wagon has seen better days, as happens to hard-working people. I loved the rusted wheel hub, thinking of it as the last touch of lipstick on a tired matron. There was something comfortable about the setting, and I could imagine the buildings around that wagon, probably as worn as the wagon. My childhood in rural Pennsylvania returned to me.
