While at first this may appear to be a heard of horses running beside a lake it is

actually a single horse photographed at 3 frames a second. I liked the sequence but

then tried to come up with a way of representing the energy and excitement of this

horse running free and came up with the idea of creating a panoramic image with slices

from each photo. You can tell how fast the horse is running based on how far it has

travelled in each image in only 1/3 of a second.

It is also interesting to see the positions of it's legs through the gallop. Only a

couple look like the classic image of a horse running yet each is a natural part of it's gait.
